What exactly is an escape room
Based on the online Japanese game called Takagism, escape rooms are live-action games designed to be a fun and challenging experience. Racing the clock, you will work with others for one hour to solve clues, puzzles, and challenges in order to escape themed rooms.
How old do you have to be?
Although there is no age limit, children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. If a person between the ages of 15 and 18 is unaccompanied, then he or she must have a parent/guardian fill out the waiver online prior to arrival. Children under 7 may find the puzzles too difficult or challenging to enjoy. Please call us if you would like to bring small children and we will attempt to accommodate you
Will we actually be locked inside?
NO! You always have the choice to leave the escape room at any time
What Time should I be there
Due to our precise scheduling, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early so you can enjoy the entire experience. All rooms will start on-time.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring your friends and a winning attitude. If you normally use reading glasses, be sure to bring those. You will be asked to fill out a waiver. To save time, you can complete this form online,
Are there cameras in the escape room?
There are cameras that monitor and record your experience.
We failed to escape the first time but we want to try again. What is required?
All secondary attempts to escape must be coordinated through our office by calling 904.312.9984. To preserve the integrity of the games, we will not allow new players to join those making a second attempt.
Rooms are available for second attempts on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. You may not make a second attempt in a room on Fridays or Saturdays, due to the high volume of new players on those days.
Any discounts provided apply only to original players and remain at the discretion of management. Please do not make an online reservation for your second attempt at a room; instead, please call our office at 904.312.9984.
What happens if we can't solve it?
During your game, our gamemasters monitor your progress and can provide up to three clues if you are having difficulty. If you fail to escape, your gamemaster will explain the remaining details. However, you may choose to forego this explanation and re-attempt the room at a discounted rate. Please see Question 15 (below) for more information.
Do I need to reserve spots ahead of time?
You will need to book in advance. Our booking page will guide you through the process.
Is there a maximum amount of people that can play?
Depending on the escape room, there is a maximum of 8 players. All rooms require a minimum of 2 players, and some may require 4 in order to solve.
What if there are more spots available than we want to book?
Everyone wants to escape! If your group does not book up all available spots for a room, the remaining spots will be available for others. It is possible that another group will join you in your escape. If you would prefer to play alone, you can purchase the remaining spots in the room.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sorry – all games are non-refundable. Please be on-time as the games will start immediately at their scheduled time.
Can I give my ticket to a friend?
Yes, your ticket is transferable. You can give them away or sell them to someone. Please call us at 904.312.9984 and we will assist you with this process
What types of payment do you accept
We accept all major cards. We do not accept checks at this time.
